Another time, another place. Another life, another face.
lyrics
I remember you.
Warm sunny days and the life we knew.
Oh and how I thought my dreams were coming true,
I remember you.
How long does a lifetime last?
You count the years and the die is cast.
But no one really knows the days of future past,
I remember them.
It was long ago when I looked into your soul,
Another time, another place.
A dream to dark to share with a heart too old to care.
A stitch in time, a change of face.
Can memories just be erased?
I remember when.
Another place, another time,
Oh but now I know, the story never ends,
I remember when.
For it was long ago when I looked into your soul,
Another time, another place.
A dream to dark to share with a heart too old to care.
A sip of wine, your saving grace,
Old memories will be replaced.
When I thought that I was finally done with this Bandcamp Friday's feeding frenzy in came the message that there was a huge discount on Veil today... Guess what happened? :-))))
So, this is the second Drifting Sun album vocally fronted by the gifted Jargon from Greece. If versatile (neo-)prog with fine melodies, arrangements and vocals is your thing, this might very well be worth your attention! Carsten Pieper
Soothfully a phenomenal prog rock album—an instant classic. What motivates me to say so, is the music’s incredible expressiveness & its wonderfully cinematic song structures. Jargon is a very good fit with this band. It is quite evident that the band’s current lineup have great chemistry together & that they share a common affinity to this vein of music. I look forward to their next creation. Drifting Sun are definitely one of prog rock’s brightest lights. Thank you, DS!

Dark but designed to move you, this Dallas group uses menacing synths and popping live drum to make heavily rhythmic post-punk. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 13, 2019
Every day until a Covid vaccine is found, Temporary Residence makes one of its records Name Your Price. Today’s is a classic from EitS. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 13, 2020
I am not new to Galahad but have lost touch with them after Beyond The Realms of Euphoria album, which still is my favorite release. But this release is just as good if not better. Galahad is one of the top prog acts around. A pleasure to add this to my musical collection. lloydd
