Way back in high school I was somewhat of a social misfit. As a result, my girlfriends were mostly of the imaginary type. This song is about one of of those imaginary relationships and the weird and wonderful times we lived in.
lyrics
Why? Why are you haunting me now?
A ghost reaching backwards in time,
Your memory lingers somehow.
For I am your knight in white satin,
Though nothing between us was real.
For fifty long years I remember,
Your eyes, the lonely tears.
And how I longed to be near.
A soul. A soul knows just where it belongs.
The voice in your heart can’t be wrong.
Should you’ve been with me all along?
For I am your knight in white satin,
And time hasn’t changed how I feel.
For fifty long years I remember,
Your touch, your body held near,
That now I know wasn’t real.

When I thought that I was finally done with this Bandcamp Friday's feeding frenzy in came the message that there was a huge discount on Veil today... Guess what happened? :-))))
So, this is the second Drifting Sun album vocally fronted by the gifted Jargon from Greece. If versatile (neo-)prog with fine melodies, arrangements and vocals is your thing, this might very well be worth your attention! Carsten Pieper

Soothfully a phenomenal prog rock album—an instant classic. What motivates me to say so, is the music’s incredible expressiveness & its wonderfully cinematic song structures. Jargon is a very good fit with this band. It is quite evident that the band’s current lineup have great chemistry together & that they share a common affinity to this vein of music. I look forward to their next creation. Drifting Sun are definitely one of prog rock’s brightest lights. Thank you, DS!

Dark but designed to move you, this Dallas group uses menacing synths and popping live drum to make heavily rhythmic post-punk. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 13, 2019

I am not new to Galahad but have lost touch with them after Beyond The Realms of Euphoria album, which still is my favorite release. But this release is just as good if not better. Galahad is one of the top prog acts around. A pleasure to add this to my musical collection. lloydd
